NEW HEAD OF THE BUSINESS UNIT EDGEBANDS
Antonio Cardona has been appointed the new Head of the Business Unit Edgebands from SURTECO Group, effective from 1 January 2024.
Cardona is replacing Fredy Hiltmann, who announced his retirement from the SURTECO Group in September last year.
Cardona is currently member of the Executive Committee of the Proadec Group and Member of the Management Board of Proadec Brasil and Chapacinta Mexico both part of SURTECO Group.
He has worked internationally throughout his career, leading the delivery of major international projects and managing operations and sales activities, in Europe, Asia and North America.
Antonio Cardona is Portuguese, 50, has a degree in economics and an MBA in Financial Management, Controlling and Audit.
He comes from Proadec, a company of the SURTECO Group where he has spent the last 19 years, the last 10 of which as Managing Director.
Antonio Cardona is based in Portugal and reports directly to Wolfgang Moyses, SURTECO Group CEO.
